É«ËÑÊÓƵ welcomed leaders from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service, or ARS, to campus on Tuesday [Dec. 16] to celebrate the retirement of Johnie Jenkins, an ARS Hall of Fame research plant geneticist whose 64-year career has had a global impact on agriculture.

For 50 years, the É«ËÑÊÓƵ Deer Lab—a partnership between the university’s Forest and Wildlife Research Center and É«ËÑÊÓƵ Extension Service—has delivered nationally recognized research on deer biology, habitat management and land stewardship to hunters, landowners and wildlife professionals across the Magnolia State.
