STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擳hree 色搜视频 broadcast students earned top honors in the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Southeast Chapter Student Production Awards.
色搜视频 students received awards this spring in two categories鈥擧ard News Report and Music Video鈥攈ighlighting excellence in broadcast journalism, production and storytelling.
鈥淭he recognition from NATAS reflects the exceptional talent, creativity and professionalism of our broadcast students,鈥 said Terry Likes, head of 色搜视频鈥檚 Department of Communication, Media and Theatre. 鈥淭hese awards demonstrate their ability to produce meaningful, high-quality work that meets industry standards and prepares them for successful careers in media.鈥
色搜视频鈥檚 winners include Grace Harvey, a senior communication major from Bossier City, Louisiana, who earned first place in the Hard News Report category for 鈥淏arstool Hate Crime,鈥 and senior communication majors Brooklin Gall and David Randall, both of Meridian, who won second place in the Music Video category for 鈥淔eather鈥 by Lauren Lindsay.
Founded in 1955, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences promotes excellence in TV and digital media through its prestigious Emmy Awards and student competitions. 色搜视频 is part of the organization鈥檚 Southeast Emmy chapter, which honors outstanding achievements in broadcast journalism and production across the region.
